Garrett is 7 months old

Garrett is doing great.  He is growing but slow going.  He weighed in at 15+ lbs at his last check up.
We did have a physical therapy evaluation because the pediatrician thought his calf muscles were over developed.  As I expected, the physical therapist agreed with the doctor and now we are going into town once a week to do some physical therapy.  Garrett absolutely hates it and screams for the 20 or so minutes we are there working with the therapist.
Thankfully, the therapist thinks he is doing so well.  We are supposed to have 8 appointments, that is over in about another month or so.
Garrett is just starting to sit longer without support and has started to get on his knees to start crawling.  I think if it wasn't for the therapy he wouldn't have been this far.
I asked the therapist at the evaluation why the extra muscle was such a big deal.  He told me that it really isn't a big deal but he would be behind on developmental milestones, like crawling, sitting, standing and walking if he didn't have the therapy.  Now, technically he is behind in sitting and crawling but now that we are getting the therapy done he should be back on track soon.
